Think you may have TMJ Disorders?

The American Academy of Dental Research (AADR) revised their policy statement on TMJ disorders. This policy statement reflects the position of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) "Less is Best" campaign. When you read this statement it will also reflect what we have been saying for the past 20 years and it is not what you, as a TMJ patient, want to hear..."no specific therapies have been proven to be uniformly effective." As was stated in the report,Chronic Pain in Women: Neglect, Dismissal and Discrimination, TMJ disorders are just that.We need your help to fight for the science that will bring understanding to TM disorders and treatments that work and not harm. Be part of the solution!
